Ukrainian students rescued by the Indian government during the Russia-Ukraine conflict expressed their gratitude by contributing to the election security deposit of V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs, for his Lok Sabha candidacy in Attingal constituency. A group of students rescued from Ukraine by the Indian government during the Russia-Ukraine conflict have demonstrated their profound gratitude by contributing to the security deposit required for Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan's Lok Sabha candidature in the Attingal constituency.

Along with their parents, the evacuated students paid a visit to Muraleedharan at the state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala on Friday. They expressed their decision to contribute to the security deposit as a heartfelt token of their appreciation for the government's efforts in ensuring their safe return.

"I was studying at Zaporizhzhia University in Ukraine when the Russia-Ukraine war erupted," Sai Sruthi, one of the students, recounted to ANI. "We were terrified and stranded, but we were fortunate to be evacuated thanks to the prompt intervention of Prime Minister Modi and Minister Muraleedharan."

"Out of respect and gratitude, the students and their parents have pooled some funds as a humble contribution towards the security deposit for his (V. Muraleedharan's) election," Sruthi added.

Minister Muraleedharan expressed his sincere appreciation for the students' gesture. "I am deeply touched by the support and gratitude expressed by these young citizens and their families who were evacuated from Ukraine under the government's watchful eye," he remarked.

"Over the past five years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the most fulfilling aspect of my role has been coordinating the successful evacuation of Indians from various conflict zones," Muraleedharan continued.

He emphasized the paramount importance that Prime Minister Modi places on the safety and well-being of every Indian citizen. "His strong international connections with world leaders have made these evacuations possible," Muraleedharan said.

"I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for ensuring the security of every Indian, both at home and abroad," Muraleedharan stated. "I also extend my sincere thanks to the evacuated students and their parents for their unwavering support and their contribution to my election campaign in Attingal."
