British trade association Bacta is losing its executive director of government relations, George McGregor, it was announced last week.

英国贸易协会巴塔（Bacta）上周宣布了其政府关系执行董事乔治·麦格雷戈（George McGregor）。

McGregor will leave the association at the end of June following the Bacta AGM.

麦格雷戈（McGregor）将在巴塔（Bacta）股东大会后的6月底离开该协会。

He has over 21 years of connection with Bacta as an external advisor to the organisation through his public affairs consultancy and joined the association’s staff in January of last year.

他通过公共事务咨询公司与BACTA担任组织的外部顾问有21多年的联系，并于去年1月加入了协会的员工。

He commented: “In August this year I turn 60 and my intention is to shift gear in my career, moving from a full-on role to project and advisory work. I am incredibly proud of my work with Bacta over the years in helping it achieve tangible benefits for members.

“Between now and my departure there is still a lot to do. John Bollom, Bacta president, said: "We are very sad to see George moving on but we understand his reasons and wish him well in the future. George is smart, determined and personable. He will leave big boots to fill.
