Circle K Ireland to continue tradition of providing free hot drinks to emergency services on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve

Members of the emergency services across Cork and the rest of the country will be able to get free hot drinks on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve at service stations run by Ireland’s largest fuel-and-convenience retailer.

Circle K Ireland, which has 2,300 employees in 410 stations across the island of Ireland, is continuing its tradition of providing free hot drinks to Irish emergency services staff on December 25 and 31.

On these two days, employees of An Garda Síochána, the fire service, RNLI, Coast Guard, and the HSE will be able to get any hot drink of their choice for free, but the fuel and convenience retailer says a valid photographic emergency services ID will be needed.

Ciara Foxton, Circle K Ireland managing director, said the company was "delighted" to support Ireland’s emergency services this Christmas.

“Like in previous years, we will offer those working in emergency services free hot drinks on December 25 and 31,” she said.

“This small gesture is a token of our appreciation for the incredible work our emergency services provide to our communities nationwide, especially during the festive period.

“Their unwavering commitment to ensuring our safety deserves recognition and appreciation, especially during the holidays.”

Circle K Ireland is part of the global fuel and convenience store brand Circle K.

Of the 410 stations, 160 are owned by Circle K and 250 are owned by independent retail partners.
