The Illinois State Treasurer's Office is hosting an online auction through HiBid from March 28 to April 3, featuring a diverse range of unclaimed property items, including rare treasures.

Among the 100 items up for bids are an 1881 U.S. $10 gold coin, an 18-karat yellow gold chain link bracelet, and a baseball card with a piece of Joe DiMaggio's bat.

According to the State Treasurer's Office, items are typically considered for auction if they haven't been touched by their owners for 10 years. All auction proceeds will be held for the rightful owners, no matter how long it takes.
