Concord, N.C. - Two students at C.C. Griffin Middle School in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, are facing charges for bringing and distributing marijuana edibles to the school, leading to the hospitalization of several classmates on Friday.

According to a news release from the Concord Police Department, the investigation revealed that the students who were transported to the hospital were fully aware that they had consumed THC, the psychoactive compound found in marijuana.
