Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced that the celebration will occur in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan, the old Parliament building where the Constitution was originally adopted on November 26, 1949.

This Tuesday marks the 75th anniversary of the Constituent Assembly adopting the Indian Constitution, and a landmark event will be held to commemorate the occasion. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are among the attendees expected at the historic event.

The celebration will take place in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan, the old Parliament building, where the Constitution was adopted on November 26, 1949, according to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. The Constitution officially came into effect on January 26, 1950.

A commemorative coin and a stamp will be released during the event. Copies of the Constitution in Sanskrit and Maithili will also be unveiled, along with two books: 'Making of the Constitution: A Glimpse' and 'Making of the Constitution and its Glorious Journey'. A booklet on the Constitution's illustrations will also be launched. President Murmu will lead people across India and abroad in reading the Preamble.
