Sunny's Pizzeria to Close Its Kitchen in EightyOne Arcade Bar, Salas Salsas to Take Over

Sioux Falls, South Dakota (March 28, 2024) - Sunny's Pizzeria's kitchen in the EightyOne Arcade Bar will be closing this weekend, marking a transition as Salas Salsas prepares to establish its full-time presence in the space. This move comes as Salas Salsas gears up to launch its new venture, BibiSol, in an adjacent location within The Carpenter Building this spring.

Salas Salsas has been utilizing Sunny's kitchen during the day before the pizzeria opens to produce its salsas and other culinary offerings, which are sold online, at farmers markets, and through its food truck. While Sunny's kitchen in the EightyOne Arcade Bar will no longer be operational, the establishment's original restaurant at 1801 S. Walts Ave. will remain open, and its pre-made pizzas will continue to be available at several downtown locations, including WoodGrain Brewing Co., Glacial Lakes Distillery & Brewhouse, and The Orion Pub. EightyOne Arcade Bar will revert to offering prepackaged snacks.
