New Delhi, April 21, 2023: On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2550th Bhagwan Mahaveer Nirvana Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. The grand event marked the commencement of a year-long celebration commemorating the 2550th anniversary of the enlightenment of Lord Mahavira, the founder and chief deity of Jainism.
