India Co-Chairs Intergovernmental Commission Review Meeting with Ukraine

India and Ukraine held the 14th Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC) Review Meeting on October 6, 2023, in New Delhi, India. The meeting was co-chaired by the Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, defense, and space.

New Delhi, India: India and Ukraine convened the 4th meeting of the India-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, Industrial, and Cultural Cooperation (IGC) on January 27, 2023, in New Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by India's Minister of State for External Affairs, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, and Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksiy Liubchenko.

The IGC review meeting provided a platform for both countries to review the progress made under the existing mechanism and explore new areas of cooperation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues, including:

• Economic Cooperation: Enhancing bilateral trade and investment, promoting joint ventures, and exploring cooperation in various sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and digital technologies.
• Scientific and Technological Collaboration: Strengthening research and development ties, expanding cooperation in areas like space exploration, biotechnology, and healthcare.

The IGC meeting concluded with the signing of the Protocol of the 4th Meeting of the India-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission. This document outlines the specific measures and actions agreed upon by both sides to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.
