On Wednesday, April 24, approximately thirty young people gathered for an evening of relaxation and entertainment hosted by the Youth Information Center (CIJ) of Le Mans. The event featured games, mingling, and discussions, complemented by a selection of non-alcoholic fruit cocktails prepared by the CIJ'BAR.

Socializing and Enjoyment

The evening provided a platform for young people from different parts of Le Mans to connect and interact. A designated "chill space" offered a cozy setting for relaxation and conversation. Additionally, Nintendo Switch consoles were made available for lively Just Dance sessions.

The presence of young dancers from the La Couveuse dance and theater group added a touch of artistry to the event. They not only rehearsed their choreography but also taught some dance moves to other attendees, creating a playful and inclusive atmosphere.

The Youth Information Center: A Collaborative Space

Throughout the evening, attendees gained insights into the CIJ's mission and the work of its staff. They were encouraged to become actively involved in shaping the center's future initiatives, contributing to its revitalization.

The CIJ aims to establish itself as a welcoming haven where youth can freely organize events, engage in recreational activities, pursue work-related goals, or simply find solace in a comfortable ambiance. The center's vision is to empower young people aged 13-20 to take ownership of their space, transforming it into a hub that caters to their social, recreational, and professional aspirations.
