Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneaker Collection: Blurring Physical and Digital Boundaries

The collaboration between Adidas and Stepn commences with the launch of the exclusive Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneaker Collection, comprising 1,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) meticulously designed to capture the essence of iconic Adidas running shoe silhouettes. This Genesis collection marks the inaugural chapter of a year-long collaboration between the two entities, promising the subsequent release of NFTs and an array of physical and wearable merchandise.

Set to debut on April 17th through Mooar, Stepn's affiliated NFT platform, the Genesis collection embodies the convergence of physical and digital experiences. Notably, Adidas has previously ventured into crypto-related collaborations with esteemed entities such as Coinbase, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Bugatti.

Concurrent with the Stepn partnership, Adidas is honoring a decade of its iconic Spezial (SPZL) line with a special event in Blackburn, England. Curated by Gary Aspden, a brand consultant with deep-rooted ties to Adidas, the DECADE event will showcase the entire SPZL sneaker archive, complemented by rare and never-before-seen design sketches dating back to the 1970s.

The event will also host workshops and educational programs, including bespoke shoemaking demonstrations by Blunt Shank, and a Q&A session with Gary Aspden and acclaimed film director Nick Griffiths.
