Chase Lawrence: Yeah, I think that’s a good way to put it. I think that this felt like such a huge step for us to just make music out of the love of it instead of the fear of it. And I feel like love always outraces fear.

After finishing singing, she took her headphones off & yelled, “I’M NOT AFRAID OF MUSIC ANYMORE!” We thought to ourselves… what an odd thing to say.

I had been looking at this music (and my life) with such unforgiving eyes – paralyzed by this abstract thought of what it could be, while completely ignoring the beauty of what it actually IS. I’m not afraid of music anymore because we are not afraid of where we are anymore.
