The Ambanis were accompanied by Akash's wife, Shloka Mehta. The family members arrived at the polling booth at around 3.30 pm and cast their votes. After voting, they displayed their indelible ink-smeared fingers to the media gathered outside the booth.

The Ambanis were among the high-profile voters in the Maharashtra assembly elections, which are being held on Wednesday, November 20. Voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. A voter turnout of 45.53 per cent has been recorded in the state as of 3 pm, according to the Election Commission of India's Voter Turnout App.
