After voting, they displayed their indelible ink-smeared fingers to the media gathered outside the booth.
The Ambanis were among the high-profile voters in the Maharashtra assembly elections, which are being held on Wednesday, November 20. Voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. A voter turnout of 45.53 per cent has been recorded in the state as of 3 pm, according to the Election Commission of India's Voter Turnout App.
The election is being contested by two main alliances - the BJP-led Mahayuti coalition and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. The BJP is aiming to retain power in the state, while the MVA is looking to dethrone the ruling government. The election campaign finished on Monday, with both alliances holding massive rallies across the state.
