The cryptocurrency community had a swift and vocal reaction to the advertisement, which was described by those within the Solana ecosystem as a "mess" posted on Solana’s X account. Those who reacted to the advertisement expressed their disappointment and annoyance, with one user stating, "This is a new low for Solana. What the hell is this ad? It's transphobic, offensive, and just plain stupid." Another user added, "I can't believe Solana would put out something so terrible. I'm starting to lose hope for this industry."

It was widely criticized for its insensitivity and perceived transphobia, leading to calls for Anatoly Yakovenko, CEO of Solana Labs, to be fired and for the company to issue a public apology.
