Ahead of the 2023 festival edition, Glasto organizers also announced a brand-new stage dedicated to South Asian talent within the Shangri-La area, with Bobby Friction, Anish Kumar, Nabihah Iqbal, and Nikki Nair among those on its lineup.

The latter has notably drawn attention among festival-goers, many of whom took to social media to share their thoughts on the Gladiator actor's addition to the bill.
