The research also found that 75% of parents regularly worked overtime, with 23% claiming it was the only way to manage their workload. Around 28% adopted flexible hours, while 20% had no flexible arrangements in place.

This was important for managing childcare responsibilities (63%), spending quality time with family (46%), and reducing the overall cost (45%).
