In its pursuit of becoming the “internet of blockchains,” Cosmos has unveiled Eureka, a solution that integrates its IBC protocol with Ethereum.

As revealed in an April 10 announcement, Eureka advances the Cosmos IBC protocol from a network-specific standard to a broader universal interoperability layer, aiming to establish the hub as a pivotal point for multi-chain applications.

One of the first use cases will be Babylon, a Bitcoin staking protocol, which will allow users to transfer Bitcoin liquid staking tokens from Ethereum to its chain built on Cosmos.
