Several Canadian dealers are preparing for their annual pilgrimage to Florida for the Florida United Numismatists (FUN) Show.

Held from Jan. 9-12, 2025, in Orlando, the event is one of the largest and most prestigious numismatic gatherings in North America, attracting dealers, collectors, and exhibitors from around the world.

The show in January is known for being the bellwether event on the numismatic calendar. With over 1,500 dealers, Heritage Auctions, numerous exhibitors, and more than 10,000 avid collectors, the FUN Show kicks off the numismatic year on a high note.

This year marks the 70th Annual FUN Convention, a milestone celebration for the Florida United Numismatists. The officers and directors take great pride in producing one of the best coin shows in the country, welcoming attendees at the opening ceremony. The bourse floor is sold out.

The theme for this year’s convention, “Great Time for Collecting,” highlights the exciting lineup of educational and interactive activities planned. Timothy Grat, operations manager for Landis Studios (formerly the Gallery Mint), will host a Mini-Mint demonstration, showcasing the minting process from molten metal to finished commemorative medallettes. Attendees can witness the historical minting process firsthand and take home a unique souvenir.
