Ubisoft dévoile Champions Tactics : Grimoria Chronicles, son premier jeu original de jetons non fongibles

Ubisoft has unveiled its first original non-fungible token (NFT) game titled “Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles.” Available as a free-to-play PC game via the Ubisoft Connect platform, the title leverages blockchain technology on the Oasys network.

In a tweet on Monday, the French video game company announced the launch of Champions Tactics, a fantasy-themed digital tabletop strategy game. The announcement comes after Ubisoft began minting fantasy champions as NFTs on Oasys in March 2023.

In Champions Tactics, players assemble teams of fantasy-themed digital champions to engage in turn-based battles against other online players. The game offers free “ethereal champions,” non-NFT characters that can be used in both unranked and limited ranked matches. By completing in-game quests, players can unlock additional champions for free.
