To access the MyTARC Mobile application, users can download the Token Transit App and search for TARC within the app. Upon identifying the correct transit service, riders can select the mobile ticket that best suits their travel needs from a range of options.
TARC offers a comprehensive selection of standard passes through the app, encompassing single trip, 24-hour, seven-day, and 30-day passes. Additionally, discount pass options are available for riders across the city. TARC customers who utilize the app or their MyTARC card enjoy a $0.25 discount over cash fare, reducing single-ride ticket prices from $1.75 to $1.50.
When boarding a TARC vehicle, passengers must activate their pass and scan the barcode on their smartphone face-down on the farebox scanner located on the bus. The application also allows for efficient family travel, enabling a single passenger to purchase multiple passes for their family members using one device.
