Pittsburgh's cultural calendar is brimming with an eclectic array of musical offerings this May, promising an unforgettable month of live entertainment for music lovers of all tastes.
Outdoor Concerts Ignite with a Burst of Energy
Stage AE, The Pavilion at Star Lake, and the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival are leading the charge, showcasing a diverse roster of artists that will set the city's outdoor stages ablaze.
At Stage AE, Chris Young, The Decemberists, Say Anything, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, City and Colour, String Cheese Incident, and many more will grace the stage. The venue will host a series of Pride on the Shore concerts, featuring Natasha Bedingfield, G Flip, and Chappell Roan, as well as popular acts like Bleachers, Modest Mouse, T-Pain, Excision, and The Beach Boys.
The Pavilion at Star Lake kicks off May with Noah Kahan and continues with an impressive lineup that includes Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, New Kids on the Block, Hootie & the Blowfish, Tyler Childers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Third Eye Blind. Chris Stapleton, Bret Michaels, Sam Hunt, Hozier, Styx & Foreigner, and Imagine Dragons are among the highlights of the summer series.
The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, commencing on May 31, will host a free concert series featuring Pokey LaFarge, Los Lonely Boys, Martha Redbone, Nicole Zuraitis, Ozomatli, Say She She, Doom Flamingo, Sugarhill Gang & the Furious Five, and Ben Folds.

Mr. Smalls Theatre will host sold-out shows by They Might Be Giants and X Ambassadors, while Lucero and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram will take the stage in June.
