According to officials, 63-year-old Shinde experienced dizziness and collapsed while casting his vote at the polling booth located at Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya in Beed city.
He was initially taken to Kaku Nana Hospital and later shifted to a facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, where he was declared dead, they said.
