The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a premier post-trade services provider in global financial markets, has joined the ERC3643 Association. This move marks a significant step in the evolution of Ethereum's role in institutional finance.

The ERC3643 Association members collaborate to drive the adoption of the ERC3643 standard for efficient and compliant tokenization of assets on Ethereum. The standard, developed by Tokeny, enables permissioned token issuance on Ethereum, merging compliance with on-chain capabilities.
DTCC will now support the issuance and management of ERC3643 tokens through its ComposerX suite. These tools, including ComposerX Factory, facilitate the tokenization of real-world assets with enhanced data handling, security, and regulatory compliance.
Aiming to automate the processing of tokenized securities, improve transparency, and reduce operational costs for institutions worldwide, DTCC's integration of ERC3643 is a key component of its broader digital assets strategy.
"DTCC's commitment to the open-source ERC3643 token standard aligns perfectly with our vision of creating a more efficient and secure financial market," said Nadine Chakar, Global Head of DTCC Digital Assets. "Today's announcement marks another milestone in our ongoing strategy to engage best-in-class technologies to build the next generation of financial market infrastructure."
"We are honored to welcome DTCC to the ERC3643 Association," said Luc Falempin, CEO of Tokeny. "Their involvement is a testament to the standard's ability to unite industry stakeholders and shape a truly open and interconnected financial system, where every service connects, every asset moves seamlessly, and every silo disappears."
"This is a pivotal moment for tokenization as we navigate the convergence of blockchain and traditional finance," added Dennis O'Connell, President of the ERC3643 Association and Strategic Advisor to DTCC. "We are proud to have DTCC join the association and help lead the future of tokenization and support institutional adoption at scale."
As Ethereum's public blockchain infrastructure increasingly gains traction among traditional financial players, DTCC's involvement in the ERC3643 ecosystem marks a critical inflection point—bringing regulated, on-chain finance into mainstream capital markets.
