Charles Barkley Asks Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka the Question of the Night: 'How Different Are Your Guys' Balls?'

Dec 18, 2024 at 11:03 am

As usual, if Barkley is in front of a mic, he's going to say something either super inappropriate or provocative. In this case, both.

Charles Barkley Asks Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka the Question of the Night: 'How Different Are Your Guys' Balls?'

Charles Barkley couldn't help himself.

The basketball Hall of Famer had to ask the question on everyone's mind during The Showdown at Pelican Golf Club.

Speaking to Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau in between holes, Barkley had a certain question about the golfer's golf balls.

Of course he delivered and phrased it as only Sir Charles could.

"I asked Trevor how different it is playing a different type of ball for somebody else," Barkley began. "How different are your guys' balls?"

There was an awkward pause between the two professional golfers, as they looked at one another.

"Our balls are quite a bit different," Koepka finally said with a straight face as best he could.

"We'll be alright. It will be just fine, I ain't worried about it."

"I worked with his ball yesterday, it should be just fine," DeChambeau added.

The two bursted into laughter after that.

It was a funny moment, but also an important one.

The question of the golf balls is a key storyline in this event, which pits the two LIV golfers against the PGA golfers.

Both Koepka and DeChambeau have switched to using balls made by different manufacturers since joining LIV Golf.

Koepka is now using a Bridgestone ball, while DeChambeau is using a Callaway ball.

It will be interesting to see how the different balls perform in this event, and whether it makes a noticeable difference in the outcome.

After all, there is a lot on the line, with a lot to play for.

No matter whose golf balls are whose.
