The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has unveiled a special commemorative silver coin to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has unveiled a special commemorative silver coin to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
The limited edition coin, produced in a quantity of 1,000, marks this significant milestone in Bahrain’s history.
The front side of the coin features a portrait of His Majesty King Hamad, along with the Silver Jubilee logo, while the reverse side showcases an image of the iconic Sakhir Palace.
In a first for Bahrain, the CBB has utilized modern 3D technology on both sides of the coin, setting a new standard for commemorative coin design.
As per the directives of His Majesty the King, all proceeds from the sale of the coin will benefit charitable organizations and funds through the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
The date for the coin’s sale will be announced soon, with reservations to be made via the national application, Mawaeed. Those interested can download the app from the eGovernment Applications Store at www.bahrain.bh/apps.
