13-Year-Old Boy Doxxed by Crypto Traders After Pulling the Rug on a pump.fun Token He Named Gen Z Quant

A 13-year-old boy has become the center of attention in the crypto world after pulling the rug on a pump.fun token he named Gen Z Quant. However, his actions have come at a steep price, as traders are now doxxing his whole family and turning them into pump.fun tokens.

The incident began on Nov. 20 when the unnamed boy launched a token on pump.fun with the ticker QUANT. Within minutes of its launch, the price of the token soared by 260%.

Seeing the rapid increase in the token's value, the boy quickly dumped all his QUANT tokens, essentially pulling the rug from under the feet of traders who had bought the token just minutes earlier. His actions netted him a tidy profit of $30,000.

As if satisfied with his initial rug-pull, the boy went online and proceeded to taunt the traders who had fallen victim to QUANT's sharp decline. Adding insult to injury, he then went on to launch another token of the same name, which he later dumped again, adding another $12,000 to his coffers.

His actions, however, did not go unnoticed by more experienced traders, who swiftly stepped in and pumped the token's market cap to an impressive $70 million. As a result, the Gen Z Quant token he launched as a seemingly harmless prank is now trading at $0.05571, according to DEX Screener. Notably, the token has seen a substantial increase of nearly 50% in the past six hours, followed by a gradual decrease of 13% over the past hour.

While the boy may have managed to multiply his initial $30,000 token into a staggering $2.4 million token, his actions have sparked a furious response from the crypto community, who are not willing to let his rug-pull go unpunished.

In a bid to retaliate against the boy's actions, traders have begun doxxing his family members and locating his school. They are also tracking down their social media accounts and airing their grievances over the funds they lost due to the boy's rug-pull. Before long, developers have started launching new pump.fun tokens named after the boy's family members, complete with their profile pictures.

Among these tokens are pump.fun tokens with the ticker QUANT DAD, QUANT SIS and QUANT MOM, which are already circulating the markets. Additionally, tokens featuring a picture of the boy's entire family and their pet dog can be found under the ticker CABAL.

“Kid put his bloodline on the line,” one user pointed out.

“Then the community cto'd it to $135 million. He could’ve had 1.2 million. Then they doxxed his name, address and sschool. The community is roothless,” said a user on X.

One trader referred to the boy as “the future of finance,” while another couldn't help but remind the community that this boy is representative of a generation that has been “optimized to do that to people.”
