Acknowledgement Donnelly, Rose, Fintona, Co Tyrone. Died 23rd November, 2024.
We the family of the late Rose, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.
Rose was a widely respected lady, devoted wife of the late Phelim and adored mother of Deirdre, Dessie and Niall. Mother in law of Gregory and Sonya and the late Rosetta and dearly loved grandmother of Aileen, Kathy, Danielle, Megan, Victoria and Alexi, great grandmother, aunt and a good friend to many.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
We are blessed to have had the love and support of friends, neighbours and work colleagues throughout this difficult time, which has helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan for his spiritual support and very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, our singer Louise Coyle and musician, Eugene Moore who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy, for preparing Rose’s final resting place. Thank you also Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to McAtee’s Bar and Restaurant for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
Finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff of Harold McCauley House for the kindness and care shown to Rose over many years.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Rose is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 21st December at 10.00am. Our Lady pray for her.
