Uniswap [UNI] saw a record daily accumulation on Tuesday, 4 February, with blockchain analytics firm IntoTheBlock revealing that a total of $25.16M UNI was scooped up on Tuesday. This marked one of the highest buying sprees for the Web3 firm since 2021.

The buying spree comes amid a broader crypto market sell-off, with several digital assets seeing their prices slashed by double-digit percentages over the past few days. UNI’s price, on the other hand, remained relatively stable throughout this period.

According to IntoTheBlock, the UNI buying spree on Tuesday was worth over 3.6 million UNI tokens. On the weekly front, a total of $54.6M UNI tokens were withdrawn from several crypto exchanges.

As per Hyblock, UNI’s Whale vs Retail Delta oscillated between green and red since February. A solid green would indicate whale dominance and a possible extended recovery for the De Fi token.

On the price chart, UNI was down 54% from its December high of $19, at press time. Nevertheless, the pullback retested the multi-year range breakout level ($7.5) that triggered the March and November 2024 runs.
