Uniswap Labs, the company behind the popular decentralized exchange, has announced the acquisition of the blockchain-based interactive game “Crypto: The Game” (CTG). CTG is a game inspired by competitive TV shows like “Survivor” and “Squid Game,” where contestants participate in daily challenges and vote each other out until a single winner emerges with the entire prize pot. The game has gained immense popularity since its debut in late January, selling out its 800 slots in just 13 minutes during the second season.

This sponsorship was part of a broader engagement with the game that included other notable partners such as Adidas, which provided players with branded tracksuits as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and Wormhole, a cross-chain messaging protocol.
