The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has put into circulation a new commemorative coin "National Guard of Ukraine" to mark the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine, which is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of March.

The commemorative coin "National Guard of Ukraine" has a face value of 10 hryvnias and is made of zinc-based alloy with nickel coating. The obverse of the coin is identical to the obverse of the 10 hryvnia coin of the 2018 issue. It depicts the denomination of the coin, the year of minting and the State Coat of Arms of Ukraine in the center, framed by an Old Russian ornament.

The main element of the composition is the image of the beret badge of the National Guard of Ukraine, which is based on a straight equilateral cross with diverging ends. In the background of the coin is a symbolic shield, which is the embodiment of protection and security.

The circulation of the rolls is 20 thousand pieces.
