"If we take care of business and Texas takes care of business, our fate is in a coin toss. Yay," Staley said Wednesday.

As previously reported by The Greenville News' Lulu Kesin, if the Gamecocks and Longhorns go a combined 4-0 this week, both programs will be crowned co-SEC regular season champions and a coin flip by Sankey will decide who is the No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament.

Since South Carolina and Texas split the regular-season series 1-1, with each team winning at their home arena, scenarios A and B are eliminated from the tiebreaker scenario. But in true Staley joking form, there is another scenario to determine the regular season title.
