According to a company statement opposing the proposal, Microsoft highlighted its past evaluations of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in considering strategies to deploy its assets. The proposal, which was initiated by the National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR), points out that MicroStrategy’s approach to Bitcoin investments, despite operating on a smaller scale than Microsoft, outperformed Microsoft’s stock by over 300% in the past year.
