So to start, GOAT Network is helping pioneer a completely new financial ecosystem for Bitcoin and Dogecoin holders where for the first time ever, we’re offering a decentralized platform where holders of both currencies can earn real, sustainable yield, paid in BTC.

That sounds really interesting. Can you walk us through exactly how GOAT Network generates these sustainable yields?

Our approach starts with our decentralized sequencer and proof-of-stake (PoS) models. We invite external sequencer node operators to stake Bitcoin or Dogecoin in exchange for sharing both operational control and transaction revenue derived from the network. Individual users can then stake each of those assets into GOAT sequencers to earn yield as well.

The economic model works as follows. Transaction fees on the GOAT Network are paid in wrapped BTC, revenue for which is then collected by sequencer node operators and converted into a yield-bearing BTC token. This sum is then decomposed into a principal token and another yield-bearing token, similar to the model built by DeFi innovator Pendle.

After bridging their funds, users can transact on our launch partner dApps including our top DEXes GOATSwap and Oku, and the liquid staking protocol Artemis. By transacting on these dApps from day one, users can collect GOAT Points, which can be redeemed for future token rewards.

But beyond that, we also saw an opportunity to transform DOGE from a volatility-ridden meme-token you could only buy and hope it rises in value to an active, yield-generating asset.
