Drexler has specifically seen a rise in gambling issues among young males in the state.

For problem gamblers, the Super Bowl poses temptation. Legal sportsbooks offer more prop bets than a typical NFL game, with DraftKings even offering an array of “Swiftie Specials.” Those prop bets are Taylor Swift-themed, as the pop star’s boyfriend (Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce) goes for his third consecutive Super Bowl win.

Maloney stresses that gamblers should first find a legal sportsbook. This often trips up new bettors on Super Bowl Sunday.
