Huawei has announced the pre-order availability of their latest flagship foldable smartphone, the HUAWEI Mate X6, in the Philippines. The device will be up for pre-order from January 17 to January 30, 2025, at select retailers and the official Huawei online store.
The Mate X6 showcases Huawei's commitment to foldable innovation, building on their experience since the original Mate X launch in 2019. The new model features significant durability improvements, including a second-generation KUNLUN Glass exterior screen that's 25 times more drop-resistant than traditional glass. The interior screen is reinforced with a carbon fiber plate that boasts impressive strength, capable of supporting the weight of a 150kg motorcycle.
Adding to its durability credentials, the device incorporates an aviation-grade aluminum middle frame and a multi-dimensional hinge made from ultra-high strength steel. The Mate X6 also features IPX8 water resistance, protecting it from water damage up to 2 meters deep.
Despite its robust construction, the Mate X6 maintains a sleek profile, measuring just 9.85mm when folded and an impressive 4.6mm when unfolded, while weighing 239g. The device features a sophisticated Space-Age Orbit camera layout and an exclusive vegan fiber finish.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Mate X6's triple camera system, comprising a 50MP Ultra Aperture Camera, 40MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 48MP telephoto micro camera. The device also excels at multitasking with its Live Multi-Task feature, enabling users to run three applications simultaneously on the unfolded display.
The HUAWEI Mate X6 is now available for pre-order in Nebula Red and Black, retailing for PHP 114,999 on Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok, HUAWEI Online Store, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.
