Gitcoin, the platform aiming to create a world where code and community can thrive, has announced that applications for GG23 are now open.

The first round of grants will begin on April 2nd and run until April 17th.

Those interested in supporting the platform and its ecosystem can do so by donating to the projects applying for grants or by voting for the projects they wish to see funded.

As a reminder, quadratic funding grants are a system in which the amount of funds allocated to a grant depends not only on the total amount of donations but also on the number of participants who made those donations. This provides a more democratic and fair way of distributing funds.
