Eric Trump, son of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, confidently predicted on Dec. 10 at the Bitcoin MENA conference in Abu Dhabi that bitcoin’s (BTC) price would surpass $1 million per coin.

次期米国大統領ドナルド・トランプ氏の息子エリック・トランプ氏は12月10日、アブダビで開催されたビットコインMENAカンファレンスで、ビットコイン（BTC）の価格は1コインあたり100万ドルを超えるだろうと自信を持って予測した。

“I believe in bitcoin. I absolutely love bitcoin, and I’m very proud that my father stood on a stage in Nashville, and he came out and said that he’s going to be the bitcoin president. He’s going to be the crypto president. He’s going to make America the crypto capital of the world. He’s going to put in smart regulation. He’s going to do all the right things. I really believe that this is the future of finance,” he said, adding:

Eric Trump went on to credit bitcoin with complementing “the hard assets our family loves so much.” He explained that “scarcity, that hard limit, (makes bitcoin) incredibly valuable, especially as these assets are being purchased in the billions. That’s why you see the price skyrocket the way it is.”

“I truly believe in the coming decades that this is going to become the cornerstone of the modern global financial system,” Trump said, adding that bitcoin “will be used to safeguard your wealth.”

Trump also commented on crypto regulation under the Biden administration. “Gary Gensler waged war against an industry that we all love and everybody knows it,” he said, noting that Donald Trump appointed Paul Atkins, “who is an unbelievable ally to this incredible industry,” he described. “I truly believe that this is the beginning of a financial revolution, not just in America, but truly around the world.”
