セルティックのブレンダン・ロジャース監督、アルネ・エンゲルスが標的にされたアイブロックスのコイン恥辱を「良くない」と激怒

Celtic midfielder Arne Engels was hit by a coin during the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the 86th minute of the game as Engels was preparing to take a corner kick. A coin was thrown from the crowd and struck Engels in the head.

事件は試合開始86分、エンゲルスがコーナーキックを蹴る準備をしていた時に起きた。群衆からコインが投げられ、エンゲルスの頭に直撃した。

Referee Don Robertson picked up the coin and took it to the fourth official, who then handed it to the police as evidence.

主審のドン・ロバートソンはコインを拾い上げて4人目の審判員に渡し、4人目の審判員はそれを証拠として警察に渡した。

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was critical of the incident, describing it as “not great” for the game.

“Yes, thankfully, [if] it was an inch lower he’d have been [hit] right in the eye,” Rodgers said when asked if Engels was okay after the incident.

This is not the first time that a Celtic player has been struck by an object thrown from the crowd at Ibrox. In 2015, Scott Brown was hit by a coin during a match between the two sides.

The incident is sure to be investigated by the Scottish Football Association, and Rangers could face punishment as a result.
