This is a 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Turbo, the turbocharged 180 bhp version of the rear-engined flat-six American production car that would pre-date both the Porsche 911 and the later Porsche 911 Turbo.

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Turbo is a two-door hardtop coupe that was acquired by the seller in 2020 and subsequently refurbished. The car is finished in PPG Teal metallic over a black vinyl interior and powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14″ rally wheels, spinner center caps, Yokohama tires, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Delco AM/FM radio.
The Corvair was introduced for the 1960 model year as Chevrolet's compact car offering and was available in two- and four-door configurations as well as a four-door station wagon and a two-door convertible. The top-of-the-line model was the Corvair Corsa, which was offered exclusively as a two-door hardtop coupe.
For 1965, the Corvair received a significant facelift with revised styling, an upgraded rear suspension, and an improved engine. The top-of-the-line model was once again the Corvair Corsa, which was available with a turbocharged version of the 2.7-liter flat-six.
This example is finished in PPG Teal metallic and features a black vinyl roof covering. Exterior details include a driver-side mirror, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome-plated bumpers, window surrounds, and trim.
Rally wheels are fitted at each corner and measure 14″ in diameter. The wheels are mounted with spinner center caps and are wrapped in 205/70 Yokohama tires. A full-size spare wheel is located in the trunk.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that are upholstered in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a wood-rimmed steering wheel with chrome rally-style spokes, a Delco AM/FM radio, and manual crank windows.
The dashboard houses a central speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged 2.7-liter flat-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 180 horsepower. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, which was a factory upgrade over the standard three-speed manual gearbox.
