A young woman in India had a surprising discovery when she visited the doctor for the first time in 16 years. While working at a hospital and operating medical equipment, she began experiencing unusual movements and severe stomach pain.

According to doctors at JN Medical College in Aligarh, the woman underwent an X-ray of the abdomen after experiencing symptoms during her work. To everyone's surprise, the X-ray revealed that a coin, which she had accidentally swallowed as a child, was still lodged in her stomach.

The woman's medical condition was attributed to the coin's magnetic effect, which became apparent while she was operating MRI equipment on patients, leading to strange movements and severe pain in her stomach.

It was mentioned that the woman had swallowed the coin at a young age, and her family believed it would naturally pass through her digestive system. However, since the girl did not experience any problems or discomfort in the years following, her family did not seek medical attention for the incident.

The coin was later successfully removed through an endoscopy, a procedure that uses a flexible tube with a camera to examine and treat internal parts of the body.

While cases of people swallowing coins are not uncommon, especially among young children, they usually pass through the digestive system without any issues.

However, medical experts warn that in some cases, objects like coins can get stuck and lead to more severe complications, such as intestinal rupture. Fortunately, in this case, the coin remained harmless and did not cause any serious damage.

The woman is now recovering well after the procedure and is expected to make a full recovery. She will also be able to continue her work at the hospital without any further complications.
