A small but prestigious gathering of Shluchim took place at the Duchman home in Crown Heights, bringing together the Shluchim to the United Arab Emirates just days from the murder of their fellow Shliach Rabbi Zvi Kogan HY'D.
A group of Shluchim to the United Arab Emirates gathered at the Duchman home in Crown Heights on Sunday evening, just days after the murder of their fellow Shliach Rabbi Zvi Kogan HY’D.
The gathering included Rabbi Levi Duchman, Rabbi Mendel Duchman, Rabbi Mendy Blau, Rabbi Tzemach Gansburg, Rabbi Yehuda Marosow, and Rabbi Mendel Stolik.
After the Kinus Gala Banquet, the Shluchim were addressed by Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, the head of Machane Yisroel.
Rabbi Krinsky gave words of strength to the Shluchim and presented them with two unique gifts: a coin minted in honor of Lag BaOmer 5751 – 1991, and handed out by the Rebbe. A second half-dollar coin was also handed to the Shluchim, uniquely having been given out by the Rebbe on Chanukah 5751 – 1990.
The famed Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin was also at the event and provided words of Chizuk as the Shluchim prepared to head back to the UAE.
