US Stocks Slightly Rise, Reaching New Closing Historical Highs

According to Zhitong Finance, on Tuesday, the three major indices had mixed results, with the Nasdaq and S&P 500 both slightly rising, reaching new closing historical highs.
Major U.S. stock indices closed mixed on Tuesday with the Nasdaq and S&P 500 eking out new record closing highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell slightly.
As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 76.47 points, or 0.17%, to 44,705.53. The Nasdaq Composite gained 76.96 points, or 0.40%, to 19,480.91. The S&P 500 rose 2.73 points, or 0.05%, to 6,049.88.
Among individual actives, Intel (INTC.US) fell 6.1%. NVIDIA (NVDA.US) rose 1%. Tesla (TSLA.US) lost 1.5%.
The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index advanced 1.1%. Alibaba (BABA.US) slid 0.3%. Nio (NIO.US) gained 5%.
European stock markets closed higher on Tuesday. The German DAX 30 index rose 133.85 points, or 0.67%, to close at 20,041.95 points; the UK FTSE 100 index rose 46.48 points, or 0.56%, to close at 8,359.37 points; the French CAC 40 index rose 18.53 points, or 0.26%, to close at 7,255.42 points; the Euro Stoxx 50 index rose 31.02 points, or 0.64%, to close at 4,877.75 points; the Spanish IBEX 35 index rose 140.11 points, or 1.19%, to close at 11,875.41 points; the Italian FTSE MIB index rose 356.83 points, or 1.07%, to close at 33,840.00 points.
Major Asia-Pacific stock markets closed higher on Tuesday with the Nikkei 225 index gaining nearly 2%. The Nikkei 225 index rose 1.91%, the Jakarta Composite Index in Indonesia rose by over 2%, and the KOSPI index in South Korea rose by over 1.8%.
Bitcoin rose slightly on Tuesday, priced at $95,886.36 per coin at the time of writing. Ethereum fell 0.98%, priced at $3,607.46 per coin.
Oil prices rose slightly on Tuesday with Brent crude oil up 0.7% to $72.33 per barrel and WTI crude oil futures up 1% during the day, currently priced at $68.79 per barrel.
Base metals closed mostly higher on the London Metal Exchange on Tuesday with LME copper futures up $119 to $9,112 a tonne. LME aluminum futures rose $20 to $2,610 a tonne. LME zinc futures gained $19 to $3,096 a tonne. LME lead futures rose $4 to $2,080 a tonne. LME nickel futures rose $322 to $16,015 a tonne. LME tin futures gained $251 to $28,824 a tonne. LME cobalt futures were flat at $24,300 a tonne.
