Crypto analyst PlanB, who adapted the Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model to Bitcoin, predicts that in 2025 Bitcoin (BTC) will reach an average price of $500,000.
Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model creator and crypto analyst PlanB has predicted that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach an average price of $500,000 in 2025. He also anticipates a peak price of $1 million, with a minimum price per coin of $250,000.
PlanB highlights the accuracy of his predictions for the current cycle, including the post-halving surge and the anticipation of Bitcoin crossing the $100,000 mark in 2024. He maintains that Bitcoin will achieve a market capitalization of $10 trillion during the unfolding cycle.
However, PlanB's bold projections have sparked skepticism within the crypto community. Analyst Bitcody specifically points out that reaching the predicted price range would necessitate an astonishing influx of institutional capital into BTC, amounting to $8 trillion within a year.
“Even BlackRock can’t create $8 trillion out of nowhere,” Bitcody argues, suggesting a more realistic scenario where BTC's market cap might double to $4 trillion, influenced by the spot ETF and the halving effect.
In response, PlanB counters that a fraction of the $8 trillion mentioned by Bitcody would be sufficient to propel Bitcoin's market cap to $10 trillion. This statement aligns with the concept of liquidity multiples, suggesting that even small inflows can lead to substantial increases in market capitalization.
