OnePlus just launched the OnePlus 13, the company’s latest flagship smartphone for the global markets including India, as it had promised.
OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 13, the company’s latest flagship smartphone for the global markets including India, as it had promised. It has a 6.82″ BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and gets world’s first DisplayMate A++ ratings for the screen.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, has support for up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and has 9925mm² dual cryo velocity VC heat dissipation area.
Coming to the optics, the OnePlus 13 retains the 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, gets a 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT600 3X tri-prism periscope telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture and OIS. The newly upgraded “multi-prism reflection structure” periscope offers a more advanced and scientific optical path design that not only makes the periscope module size significantly lighter and thinner, but also achieves faster focusing and clearer capture. There is also a 50MP 120° ultra-wide camera.
The OnePlus 13 comes in Arctic Dawn with next-generation surface-based glass coating for a smooth finish, Midnight Ocean with skin-friendly microfiber vegan leather material and the Black Eclipse debuts a sophisticated black rosewood grain glass process.
The phone has an ultra-narrow micro-arc middle frame, and still retains the three-stage alert slide, on the left-hand side. It has a new integrated antenna and the Alert Slider solution to deliver an enhanced antenna performance for gaming.
The phone has IP68 + IP69 dustproof and waterproof ratings, and packs a 6000mAh dual-cell battery with the highest 805Wh/L energy density for a dual-cell battery, support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge up to 100% charging in 36 minutes and 50W wireless flash charging, and also supports magnetic charging.
