Katy Perry teases 'special guest star' will sing I Kissed a Girl with her at AFL grand final

Katy Perry's pre-entertainment performance isn't until 1.40pm, but keen fans can grab a sneak peek of her choreography on social media.

Katy Perry has given fans a sneak peek at her AFL grand final performance.

The pop superstar posted a black-and-white behind-the-scenes video on Instagram on Saturday morning, showing her and her dancers racing around an elaborate stage.

Perry’s sultry new song Gorgeous from her seventh studio album, 143, plays in the background.

According to a leaked set list, as reported by 3AW on Friday morning, Perry is set to perform Gorgeous alongside other hits including Dark Horse, California Girls and Teenage Dream.

Perry has teased that a special Australian guest star will sing I Kissed a Girl with her at the grand final, though she stopped short of divulging their identity.

She revealed the news to a select group of media and fans at the MCG on Thursday morning, after being asked about her “amazing, extra raunchy” performance at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, and whether she would be “toning it down” on Saturday.

That mystery guest star, Perry said, would be announced only when coming on stage this weekend.

But speculation has been rife all week, partly because Perry has dropped clues, leading many to assume it is Melbourne’s own Tina Arena.
