No need to sort or count them. Just follow these simple steps:

Got a jar full of coins and dreading the thought of sorting and counting them? Don't worry, there's an easier way. Simply follow these steps to deposit your coins at a bank branch:
1. **Visit a branch with a Coin Deposit Machine.** Not all branches have them, so it's best to check the list below and call the branches directly to confirm availability.
2. Insert your coins into the machine. There's no need to separate them; the machine will sort the coins by denomination (5 sen, 10 sen, 20 sen, 50 sen—both old and new) and reject any foreign currency.
3. Press the A button to start the process. The machine will process the coins, and any that aren't accepted will be returned to a tray at the bottom. If needed, you can try re-inserting the rejected coins and pressing A again.
4. Once you're done, press the B button. The machine will print two receipts: one for you and one for the bank. Fill in your name, bank account number, and phone number on the bank's copy of the receipt.
5. Submit the form to the customer service counter and you'll receive a receipt for your coin deposit.
6. If you deposit your coins before 4pm, the money will be credited to your account on the same day. However, if you deposit after 4pm, it will be credited on the next business day.
