Jamshedpur: Local artists honor the birth anniversary of the late Ratan Tata, a beacon of inspiration and a true gem of India

Jamshedpur: Local artists paid tribute to the late Ratan Tata on his birth anniversary at Uday Movies Studio in Sonari on Monday. The celebration, marked by simplicity, included a cake-cutting ceremony and a heartfelt tribute to his legacy.

The artists adorned a portrait of Ratan Tata with garlands and paid their respects, reminiscing about his invaluable contributions to humanity and his message of service. Singer Ajit Aman offered a musical tribute by performing heartfelt songs, including “Bharat Ratan Hamare” and “Nav Ratnon Mein Hai Ratan.”

Renowned cake maker Seema Lakshmi created a handcrafted cake in Ratan Tata’s honor, featuring inspirational messages from his life. Speaking on the occasion, she said, “This cake is a small token of our love and respect for Ratan Tata, who was a guiding light for millions.”

Ajit Aman, visibly emotional, shared, “We have celebrated Ratan Tata’s birthday every year, but this time was different. His recent demise has left a void in the hearts of people across the nation.”

The artists reiterated their demand for awarding Ratan Tata the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor. Ajit Aman said, “Ratan Tata was not just a visionary industrialist but also a philanthropist who dedicated his life to nation-building. He truly deserves the Bharat Ratna.”

Prominent artists like Babu Sona Wala, Seema Lakshmi, Hari Darshan Singh, Alok Kumar, Somnath, Kumar Prabhakar, Ajay, Tanishk, and Amit Chaubey were present. They reflected on Tata’s contributions to society and pledged to spread his ideals.

During the event, the artists shared stories of Tata’s transformative work in industry and philanthropy. They highlighted how his vision and leadership not only revolutionized the industrial sector but also inspired countless individuals to strive for excellence and serve humanity.

The event concluded with a collective tribute, as the artists vowed to carry forward Ratan Tata’s legacy and his message of compassion and service.
