ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (April 17, 2024) – The Excise Department of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) is revolutionizing civic services with the launch of its Doorstep ICT Vehicle initiative. Residents can now access essential services and vehicle registration with unparalleled convenience at the Rose & Jasmine Garden on Wednesdays.

From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Excise staff will be stationed at the parking lot, providing a dedicated van to serve nearby residents. The initiative aims to streamline processes and eliminate the hassle associated with vehicle registration and other services.

"This initiative is a testament to our commitment to providing seamless and accessible services to our citizens," said Dr. Abdullah Tabassum, Spokesman for ICT. "By bringing these essential services to the doorstep, we are not only simplifying processes but also saving residents valuable time and effort."

The Doorstep ICT Vehicle will offer a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Vehicle transfer
  • Token tax payment
  • Domicile certificate issuance
  • Birth certificate issuance
  • Power of attorney attestation
  • International driving permit issuance
  • Fuel permit issuance (domestic and commercial)

Residents can also access these services without leaving the comfort of their homes by calling the Excise Department's helpline. The initiative is part of a broader effort by ICT to enhance public convenience and efficiency.
