The LED screens, which usually display the scoreline, live action and the time, went down as part of an area-wide power cut in the second half.
A power cut hit Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon, affecting the stadium's big screens and PA system during the second half of the match against St Mirren.
The outage also impacted Celtic TV's live streaming of the game, with viewers experiencing a loss of commentary following the reinstatement of pictures after the power went out.
However, thanks to the stadium's emergency generator system, the floodlighting and safety systems remained operational, ensuring that the match could continue after a brief stoppage.
Supporters were advised to take extra care when leaving the stadium at the end of the match due to the limited street lighting in the immediate Parkhead area.
Celtic thanked all supporters for their understanding, despite the issues being beyond the club's control.
